このサービスについて

bookmates（bookmates.jp）は、読書会の運営を助けるためのアプリです。個人が運営しており、営利目的ではありません。

アカウント

メールアドレスとパスワード、または Google・Apple・LINE・X のアカウントで登録できます。登録は無料です。外部サービスのアカウントで登録した場合、そのサービスからメールアドレスをお預かりします。メールアドレスは、アカウントの識別と、招待・お知らせのメール送信にのみ使用します。ご自身のアカウントの管理と、パスワードの秘密の保持はご自身の責任でお願いします。

投稿していただく内容

本の情報、感想メモ、チャットへの投稿などができます。投稿した内容の権利はご自身に残ります。法令に反するもの、他の方を傷つけるもの、権利を侵害するものは投稿しないでください。

本の情報と書影について

本の表紙画像（書影）の著作権は、出版社・著作者などの権利者に帰属します。当サービスは、どの本のことかを示す目的でこれを表示するもので、権利を主張するものではありません。書名・著者などの書誌情報は openBD と Google Books から取得します。書影は Google Books、Open Library、楽天ブックスから取得するほか、メンバーがアップロードすることがあります。アップロードする場合は、ご自身が権利を持つ画像か、権利者の許諾を得た画像のみをお使いください。権利者の方で掲載の停止をご希望の場合は、下記の連絡先までお知らせください。確認のうえ、速やかに削除します。

本の購入リンクについて

本のページに、Amazon と楽天ブックスへの購入リンクを置いています。これらはアフィリエイトリンクで、リンクを経由して購入されると当サービスに紹介料が入ります。購入価格が変わることはありません。リンクには「広告」と表示しています。売買の契約はあなたと各ストアとの間のもので、商品、代金、配送、返品について当サービスは責任を負いません。

ブッククラブの運営

ブッククラブのオーナーは、メンバーの追加・削除、ブッククラブの削除ができます。オーナーがブッククラブを削除すると、そのブッククラブの本・イベント・チャットも削除されます。

できないこと・保証しないこと

このサービスは現状のまま提供されます。いつでも停止・変更する可能性があります。データの保全に努めますが、消失しないことを保証はできません。大切な記録は、ご自身でも控えを取ってください。

退会

Profile ページからいつでもアカウントを削除できます。削除すると元に戻せません。他のメンバーがいるブッククラブのオーナーの場合は、先に譲るか削除していただく必要があります。

About this service

bookmates (bookmates.jp) helps book clubs organise themselves. It is run by an individual, not as a business.

Accounts

You can register with an email address and password, or with a Google, Apple, LINE or X account. Registration is free. Where you register through one of those services, your email address is received from it. It is used only to identify your account and to send invitations and notifications. Looking after your account and keeping your password to yourself is your responsibility.

What you post

You can add books, notes and messages. What you write stays yours. Please don’t post anything unlawful, harmful to others, or that infringes someone’s rights.

Book information and cover images

Copyright in a book’s cover image belongs to its publisher, its author, or whoever else holds it. This service displays covers to show which book is meant, and claims no rights in them. Titles, authors and other bibliographic details come from openBD and Google Books. Covers come from Google Books, Open Library and Rakuten Books, and members can also upload one — please upload only images you hold the rights to, or have permission to use. If you hold rights in a cover and would like it taken down, write to the address below and it will be removed promptly.

Links to buy a book

A book’s page carries links to Amazon and Rakuten Books. These are affiliate links: if you buy through one, this service earns a small commission. The price you pay is not affected. The links are marked as advertising. The sale is between you and the shop — this service is not responsible for the goods, the payment, the delivery or any return.

Running a club

A club’s owner can add and remove members and delete the club. Deleting a club deletes its books, events and chat with it.

What isn’t promised

The service is provided as it is, and may change or stop at any time. Data is looked after carefully, but its survival cannot be guaranteed. Keep your own copy of anything that matters.

Leaving

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile page. It can’t be undone. If you own a club with other members in it, hand it over or delete it first.
